Staying in the calm outskirts of Ft Lauderale for some days, in lazy Oakland Park.
Met up with former Hult student Albin. More or less a native Miami-ian by now. Originally from a very rural part of Sweden, still considered to be a part of Denmark.
Living at "Carlos", my first AirBnb stay. Very relaxed guy and a surprisingly clean and sweet house, though it's far from downtown. Very reasonably priced. And explicitly 'hurricane proof'...

Spent this rainy and gloomy Tuesday with the great guys at Klassiker. Finally got to see Fredrik Nyblad's unique Volvo 165. Yes, it's kind of impossible not to pick up the strong bond between the car and Fredrik - even on this mobile snapshot from Klassiker's studio. As a Volvo enthusiast myself I totally understand him :-).
Ford Escort Mexico, my office from today until Saturday. An aggressive little rally car, whom I just like more and more. Many thanks to owner Jim Nilsson who spent hundreds of hours restoring the car to its present stunning condition – and still don't mind borrowing the car to me.
Spent the day in the forests – met up with the owner to this beautiful Opel Ascona SR19 for a full photo session. An impressively authentic candidate of a series of Opels who mostly died along some rally stage decades ago. Good flashbacks from the 70's when Opel was 'hot stuff' and built some of the greatest cars for rally enthusiasts. Kind of different from the brand status of today. And yes, I just want to go back to some of those pretty gravel roads and continue going sideways…
Ford RS200. The fastest car I've ever driven? Eh, yes. 0-100 km/h in less than 3 seconds – this cruel Group B conquerer was owned by Swedish rally legend Hasse Möller in Norrköping, Sweden for decades. Built for hill climbs and sprints and therefore being fed by a turbocharger from a an old Formula 1 car (!). Little endurability but an explosive grenade for 10-15 minutes. I made the most memorable overtake in this car – on open roads. Of course it was street legal, despite some 700 bhp…

I ran into this rough G-series 911 in Brooklyn, NY last summer. Since I'm a sucker for New York City in general and Porsches in particular, I had to make a quick stop next to this old red warrior. Worn interior, sad 'eyes' but as an innocent observer I just loved the style of the car.
